In Cassells Dictionary of Slang, a respected book published in 1998, it specifically says it is used a term to kill.

The novel "Close Pursuit" by Carsten Stroud, published in 1988 also used "86" as a term meaning "to kill". The book is on archive.org and you can search its contents to confirm. Here is a screenshot:

Comey belongs in jail, but even if dismissed, the process is punishment.

Why did right-wing social media only serve this interpretation now, and not when MAGAs used 86?

Do you think Jack Poso meant "kill Biden"?

I couldnt think of a scummier cop since J. Edgar. Glad his retirement is going well. Some golf, some go to court.

Not nice to say but he does have that typical arrogant US federal agent face.

Sort of like a Russian girl "resting biatch" face

The biggest problem for Comey is if it goes to trial, he has to testify. Ouch.

Nobody has to testify if they go to trial. Back to law school for you.

He does. He has no choice. If, of course.

Have you ever been confronted with the issue in a case where the Government will use your clients words against him? So do you leave it at their version or contest it?

You children think a Courtroom is a game where ones prejudices can be confirmed or denied but to Comeys lawyers its not a game. They are already putting the trial book together. Here try this scenario.

Agent testifies: "Comey told me he knew what the threatening aspect of the number was and he didnt care". Maybe thats a lie. Agents lie and. Cops lie. Everyone lies. Who disputes what that Agent says?

Endless permutations at $400 an hour. How to handle the torrent of anti Trump comments the Gov will seek to introduce.......

Nonsense, as usual. Keep up the mediocre posting. You're so good at it.

Ouch, that must have hurt!🤣

Seems all roads lead to Epstein....

Maureen Comey — sacked daughter of James Comey and former lead prosecutor for Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell could expose internal DOJ documents about why she was fired and potentially reveal new details connected to Epstein.

Indeed. And a judge has just ruled that she can go ahead and sue the Government for getting fired.thumbsup

Not sure a picture of seashells is evidence of anything a court should consider. However, the court should punish someone for bringing the case to court a second time.

Really, tell me why its nonsense LOL. You want to debate possible trial strategies? Which side do you want, we can start a topic. You game? Or as most of your lot, cowardly?

Really?

From AI:

While "86" is traditionally restaurant slang for refusing service or eliminating an item, it has evolved in mafia movies and thrillers to mean killing or murdering someone (often referring to taking them 8 miles out and 6 feet under).

poor little snowflake donnie watches mafia movies and wishes he could have been a tough guy instead of a fat snowflake who applauds the death of robert mueller, suggests that liz cheney face a firing squad, screaming knock the crap out of him to his maga rallies when anyone dares protest.... but gets his size xxl panties in a knot over "his" concern that comey dared to make a post that most people would read as get rid of crybaby donald via congressional action and elections...only a snowflake karen could claim that was a threat on his life. Pathetic. Case will be dismissed after a month or two of lawyers wasting time, money and resources, etc just as soon as it gets before a judge. Meantime real convicted criminals will continue to contribute to trump and get pardons. Pathetic.

Someone is certainly affected -- I have no idea what you are talking about.

Father, Yagoda. Not brother. You see, when you deal with us from outside your cult, facts matter.

Got it?😉

It has but there are two counts he's been indicted for and the grand Jury must have been shown enough evidence for this case to be moved forward.

I read somewhere,He's also facing legal scrutiny on the original investigation of his attempts to coordinate with his Columbia U colleague .That has implications despte it getting thrown out the first time on technicalities.

That being said What Higher up in the past ever initiated a entrapment of a transitioning administration security adviser? Dont bother to look for a answer , NONE!

On this issue . The acting AG said:

"The people like Comey have created tremendous danger, I think, for politicians and others. You know, Comey is a dirty cop, he’s a very dirty cop...He’s a crooked man."

Comey helped with other intel higher ups to disparage a incoming administration. Surly him and others must be held accountable.Lawyer fees & ethics are screaming for Comey.

Not related to this case. These comments make it look more and more, if that were possible, to malicious prosecution.

Comey makes J Edger Hoover look like a Choirboy!

Can You Sue for Malicious Prosecution After Charges Are Dropped?

Yes, a defendant whose criminal indictment is dismissed can potentially sue to recover legal bills and other damages, but it is highly challenging and generally requires proving that the prosecution was malicious or legally improper. Simply having charges dropped or being found "not guilty" does not automatically allow a defendant to recover legal fees.

If the charges were dismissed because the prosecutor acted without probable cause, knowingly filed false charges, or acted with malice (e.g., for political reasons), the defendant can file a civil lawsuit for malicious prosecution.

The Reuters report starts with an unusual statement “James Comey surrendered”.Its a unusual statement . How often does a former FBI director get charged with 11 counts. Much more to come .

Not an unusual statement at all when referring to a court appearance.
