Federal judge blocks Trump's immigration freeze in blistering ruling

If politics are superimposed on the law, by the imposition of such discriminatory practices, openly driven by political rhetoric, which are deliberately deployed to attract a particular voter base, then the judge has little choice but to venture into politics to stop the abuse of the law.

I agree. The judge quoting statements made by Trump and Vance and any other admin are facts within the case and indicate their position, intent, feelings and in this situation their actions on the issue at hand.
