July 13Jul 13 Both my dual nationality children (UK/Thai) are married to Thais and now want their respective spouses to join them in the UK.Can anybody recommend a school or tutor that will teach purely to pass the A1 or A2 exams. The exams are only speak and listen, so no reading or writing required.Anywhere in Bangkok will be OK.
July 13Jul 13 They can only do A1 or B1 in Thailand. A1 is very easy, so if they can already speak English quite well, it might be better to do B1 now, thereby skipping the requirement for A2 when in the UK.Both IELTS Life Skills A1 and B1 can be done in Bangkok by either IDP or British Council. Both centres can also advise about practice sessions, but it's really not necessary if they already have basic English. There are lots of examples of tests online, although not all are good examples. Here are links to the official practice tests.
