No. jump right in ! ,sereiously though,once the decree nisi period is up you can make the same mistake again as soon as you like ,. :o

Why the rush? Wait and live with the girl before you get married. Well, I guess if you marriage really means nothing then get married as you can cheat on your wife while your married and jump into another marriage if the one you go into fails. That seems to be pretty common out here in Thailand.

don't listen to these guys. marrying fast is common in thai culture because they are buddhists. i believe that you can get married almost immediately after your divorce has been finalized by the us government offices.

if you have children, you probably need to take care of this before you come to thailand, although many men decide its best to leave the kids in america because thailands culture is different and they have a hard time adjusting.

I believe that by Thai law there is a 6 month waiting period for an official marriage in the Ampur.

You need a chitty to say that you are FREE to marry...usually following "Divorce Absolute"...then you can go back into bondage....Legally....but why rush cos technically it for LIFE init.........til death do us....gimme a break.... :o

Yes, that's correct. The 6 month waiting period is to see if the missing husband turns up,

if not ... go for it.

Oh ... and it gives you a bit of time to find out how many kids she really has.
