Foreign Tourist to Be Deported After Hua Hin Rampage

A Qatari tourist is facing deportation from Thailand after allegedly carrying out a series of unprovoked attacks on six people during a violent rampage in Hua Hin. Among those reportedly targeted was a woman in a wheelchair, whom the suspect allegedly dragged from her wheelchair during the incident. The attacks caused alarm in the local community and prompted police intervention as officers moved to stop the tourist from harming anyone else. Authorities treated the case seriously because of the number of alleged victims and the apparent lack of provocation behind the attacks.
