I have 2 inverters in parallell. To Slave is connecyed 9 panels south carport roof and 10 on west roof, to the 2 connections.

To Master is connected 17 panels on south roof and 10 on east roof.

That makes a big unbalance on south between inverters.

I have now added 3 of the south roof to the 9 on carport. So south roof now has 14 panels and carport have 12 panels.

Now to my question, is it very negative to add panels that are "far away", have different inclination and different energy?

I add 2 pictures that will show situation before and after.

I don't think the electrons care 😋

The distance between parts of a string is not a problem if the cable can handle the current without excessive volt drop.

However for parts with different orientation, the poorest producing part will dictate the whole string.

Current is the same through all panels in series. Just like a garden hose pipe if you pinch any part, the flow of water drops for the entire hose.

No, the cables length is given in meter

That means that carport 10+3=13 will give 545 watt per panel (9 545w and 4 630w will give tha lowest effect)

That will be 7085w

What will the max total energy be at Jan and June?

AI on google search bar will give you all the answers, ask the same questions with your system for your location.

I will change the inclination for the 3 on roof so they will also have 8 degreas!

PJ71: Can you show me how the question shall look for AI.

I have thought about the fact that 3 panels have 29 degreas inclination and the other 9, 8 degreas.

That means in the summer time the 9 gives more than the 3 and in winther the 3 gives more.

Does that mean, seen over a year, these panels will give the same as if I had changed the 3 to 8 degreas?
