EV Charging at PTT

Featured Replies

Wifey wanted to refresh her car charging skills so for the first time this year we stopped at a PTT charging station.

Charged up to 75% then it stopped (I only knew as looked at BYD car app.).

Wandered over to the car and frustrated man said he had booked the charger.

My question is: can you just pull up outside the charging station, see that it's full, then book for a charge, that stops other people already charging?

What's the go?

Wifey wants to know as I'll be gone for a couple of months.

Of course you can, as long as that 'slot' is open. Why I like getting to the charger on the hour, or half hour. Then I know I'm good for almost half hour, which is usually more than enough.

They charge 10 THB a minute, for overstaying now. They also send a msg, stating need to unplug, if cable is reserved. Need to pay attention on the half and top of the hour.
