Thai Student Charged After Chinese Man Stabbed to Death in Chon Buri

A 20-year-old Thai college student has been charged with intentional killing after a Chinese man was stabbed to death inside the student's girlfriend's room in Sattahip, Chon Buri. The 21-year-old woman told police that she knew the Chinese victim through her hotel job and that he had visited her room before her boyfriend returned from work the following morning. An argument developed into a physical confrontation, with the suspect claiming he initially held a knife to intimidate the stranger before the two struggled over the weapon. The woman suffered several cuts while attempting to intervene, and the suspect fled toward Pattaya before later surrendering after learning that the victim had died. Police recovered a folding knife from an overgrown area behind the accommodation and are examining forensic evidence, CCTV footage and witness accounts as the investigation continues.
