Drone Warfare? Nah, Not That Important.

So a few months ago, Pete "Bang, Poof, Ka-pow" Hegseth fired the universally admired US Army chief Gen. Randy George and replaced him with a 'yes man', Gen. Christopher LaNeve.

In a move usually seen when lesser persons replace great persons, the lesser person feels the need to put their mark on things, and it's always to the detriment of whatever business they're in.

LaNeve has now dissolved a unit Gen. George established focused on learning from the drone warfare taking place in Ukraine that has revolutionized how wars are fought.

Why? Well, LaNeve says he wants to focus on “back-to-basics”. Pure genius......coffee1

"The Army took a major step to prepare for wars of the future in January when it established a new battalion in Europe to master the art of fighting with drones and ground robots.

The idea was to learn the lessons of the conflict in Ukraine that has been raging on the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s doorstep and develop cutting-edge military systems and tactics to counter the Russian threat.

But the much touted drone assault battalion is being phased out."
