Looking for a portable generator, good enough for some stick welding. Any brands out there worth looking at? No name, thai brands etc....

Took a look at Lazada, but there are many unknown brands there. Any experiences here on the forum?

I dont really know, I dont do any welding myself 😉The guys working on small projects around the house has used a small unit. Never checked it, not in Thailand at the moment so I can`t pop out and check.

I bought a Polo inverter generator with 4 stroke gas engine from Thaiwatsadu when it was on offer. Works well and powered a welder. Manly just used for large fans and a TV for meetings on farms.

I looked at the Thaiwatsadu website and they now sell a 'Rowell' brand inverter generator, but it looks like the same thing

    Ok, I saw a few Polo generators on Lazada. Might check them out then 👍
