Since the latest OTA update for my Seal Performance AWD, I am unable, as the driver, to turn on the ventilation in the passenger seat using a voice command. Before the update, "Turn on seat ventilation in the passenger seat" worked a treat. Now, no matter how I word it I cannot get it to work. It definitely is possible as I got it to work one time - but I have forgotten the exact words I used. Anybody know?

My girlfriend, sitting in the passenger seat, could do it, but the car doesn't understand her accent!

Including the word side is critical.

“Turn on passenger side seat ventilation.”

And, as you would expect, “Turn off passenger side seat ventilation.”

Works every time.

Are you paying attention, JB? Presumably this will work in the SL7.

Or if you want both front seats, then say

turn on seat ventilation in the front row at setting one

Or

Turn on seat ventilation in the front row

They worked perfectly before the latest update.

Neither of them work since the latest update.

I tried below on my SL7 this morning...worked for me. Maybe this will work for a Seal also. I'm on the latest OTA update for a Thailand SL7 which is 3.2.0. Just be sure to say "on or off" as appropriate and if wanting to affect just one particular seat then also say "passenger or driver" as appropriate. If you don't say which seat it affects both seats at the same time vs separately.

To separately control passenger's side...it does not affect the driver's side

"Turn on (or off) seat ventilation passenger side"

To separately control driver's side....it does not affect the passenger's side

"Turn on (or off) seat ventilation driver side"

And to control both seats at the same time

"Turn on (or off) seat ventilation"
