it keeps refusing to work ,cannon print app wont either ,weeks spent trying to get it to work ,is there an easy way ?

Just printed something off my Canon app on my Iphone...........

trouble is when my device asks to join the wifi network of my cannon printer it asks for a password but the serial number and password dont work .i did a print out of my printer to get a password and it dont work either, cannon is rubbish,feedback says theyre unreliable !

Did you make sure the IPhone is on the same wi-fi network as the printer?

I know my router has a log-in for both a 5G connection and a 4G connection. In my case, the passwords are the same for both, but maybe yours is set up differently? Just a thought.

I don't understand the serial number bit , the password is the to access your wi fi network .

instructions say serial number on the bottom is the password ,4letters and 5 numbers but dont work

Maybe that has already been changed somehow. There may be a program you can use to check for the current password.
