Torrents.

Why is it on qBittorents that so often when downloading a torrent, it stops at around 93 or 95 then never starts again even after a few days so I have to just dump it? Is there any way to start it again so it finishes at 100?

Because God doesn't like you stealing Hollywood movies. He's a movie buff

no you either wait or find some other torrent sharing the same file..for some files that hardly anyone is sharing/seeding it can take months !!

P.S as 'god' said patience is a virtue 😋

Check if you have any seeders. if they're still in the list the fil can finish. if not, you're just one of the peers who also have that same 93-95%. Some files are fake as they don't want you to finish it. Right click your file and select force recheck which can reset it

If there are limed seeds or none it will stop until they are back online.

You can check if there are fake files by checking the torrent status. I use transmission which will report checksum/CRC errors.

Qbittorrent had 2 columns that can be activated to tell you availability & last seen complete. Availability tells you if it's currently totally available and the other one tells you if you've ever had access to a complete file. Right click on the header bar and activate those two columns.
