Hi folks,

I suffer from essential tremor, and someone has recommended to me a wristband sold by a company called Beechband. They are based in the UK and market the device at £49.50p before shipping costs.

Does anyone have experience/knowledge of this company, which is registered at companies house in London, or indeed has anyone purchased one of their wristbands?

This was developed for Parkinson's symptoms, not essential tremor. I have ET, and it drives me mad sometimes. I've had brain surgery with limited positive results and some undesirable side effects. Regarding Beechband my search turned up mixed reviews. It's not an approved medical device, there's little or no real research on it, so it looks like something that may or may not help and varies with the individual. I personally would have my doubts about spending good money on it, but if you don't mind spending the money on something with a 50/50 chance of helping then try it. There are other treatments that may work better, you should consult a movement disorder specialist. Here's a screen shot from my search.
