Noticed of late my overseas bank (Debt card with largest bank in one country, which is in the private division)

Is having issues at times - PoS on and off (pay by card) and now Withdrawals (connection issue, contact issuing bank etc) bank says there's no issues (unionpay network)

Sizable chunks taken out (household monthly operational cost is 100-150,000, building probably 300,000, and other things, so say 300-500k but even then that's not a large amount of money, bank have no issue, confirmed as much with my wealth/account manager.

But Thailand side since the past few weeks has been all over the place, i.e one minute tops works (85 baht) next minute 2,500 baht rejects...

Should note the bank has recently been sanctioned on its commercial side by the UK/EU but I use the retail private side and not Visa.

Anyone else having issues with ATM's / Foreign cards

Sanctions don't make a commercial/retail distinction. This is a common misconception.

Generally for cards issued to Wealth Accounts the banks spend considerable tech resources to ensure the card is always accepted so the problems you are experiencing are likely deliberate frictions.

I'm guessing it is Alfa-Bank or some other Russian bank.

No, asian bank. (one of the largest bank in one country).

Yellow, Green, Purple.

Gives balance, doesn't allow withdrawal...
