I am heading to Alberta Canada to work in the oil industry any body else in Thailand aorking there and living in thailand

Im working in northen alberta and trying to live in thailand.

I've *heard* it can be difficult for Non-Canadian citizens to get work without prior visa approval from a Canadian business.

I've spoken to Canadian oil workers abroad and they've told me they've never met any Europeans in the oil industry in Alberta. Although he did mention some Mexican workers were allowed on a government scheme.

Traveling solo to Canada and rolling into town for a job in the oil towns near the land-rigs is not as crazy as it sounds though as, having the oil industry isn't always fickle
