The Thai2English site does go both ways, but you have to go by single words from English to Thai.

From your post, it sounds like you want to translate an entire website. Forget it.

You will never get good results from any computer-generated translator, if you're looking for anything more than word-for-word (and even that will produce the wrong translation, as often as not - or give you several possibilities that you'd have to suss out anyway). There is no such program that exists, nor ever will exist at any time in any future. Translation is a form of poetry, no matter how dry the material. It can't be done in a vaccuum, and not by any pre-programmed method.

But, if you just want another online English-Thai dictionary, try thai-language.com

thanks for making that clear. I wrong assumed there must be something like that BabelFish thing I used to use years ago, which would give you a very approximate translation of european language sites into english.

Cheers

I used to enjoy playing with babelfish. I would put in a random sentence in English, translate it to another romance language, then maybe german or russian and back to English. It always gave me a good laugh. Going from one romance language to another can provide an 'OK' translation using babelfish or something similar, though even here you'll get some funny translations. However, as soon as you a a language from a different language family then the accuracy drops exponentially. With two languages as disparate as Thai and English then the possibility for a good translation from a program like that is very minimal.
