Always thought it was sad, but worked with a bloke who is a member of Napoleons army (him half french) and it sounds like a good craic, meet up all over Europe for events and a good piss up with like minded souls from differing countries.......the Russians are apparently quite mental :o

Although I will admit I am not quite ready to join the 9th SS Panzer Division now stationed in the UK (did Tony Bliar really swing that far to the right?!!)

the 9th SS Panzer Division

Just wondered if folk did this sort of thing in Thailand? (apart from the Nazi crash helmets for motorbikes?).

Maybe Thailands a bit too hot for 'anoraks' :o

When I lived in the UK, The 'War and Peace show was held every year very near to where i lived. Over the years it turned from a two day event to over a week of serious military partying.

It is a very strange feeling to go to the local newsagent on a Saturday morning to find a WW2 Half-track and a Chieftan Tank parked outside, and inside, an assortment of SS Stormtroopers and other assorted military personel buying sweets and newspapers, very wierd.

However, like my dad always says, "Son, a man needs a hobby"
