Due to the huge number of people using the Pattay Immigration Office in Jomtien Is there an ofice in Rayong can process 1 year visa? If yes where is it?

JGV, I tried to do a search for this information because the problem is

there is not a definitive list anywhere. Even on immigration.go.th

From some rather dated pages:

Rayong Province

1) U-Ta-pao Airport

2) Maptaphut Harbor

Chonburi Province (Sri-racha district)

1) Laem Chabang Harbor

2) Ao Udom Bay

The Jomtien office is at times a bit overrun. You would have to do

a little detective work to find out if these other places are even

open anymore and can handle what you need. Seems like I recall

members using an office in Sri-racha. Sorry can't help more.

The Rayong provincial Immigration office used to be down at the Port way towards the end and on the right.  Not a large office.  

This used to be the main office as the post at Uttapao was only open when a charter was scheduled, then an officer from Rayong would drive over for the exercise.

Give that a try, be interesting to see if it's still open.  Reckon so as Rayong is a major fishing port.

Maptaphut (soi 20 off sukhumvit) is the closest immigration office to Rayong AFAIK.

I used it to get proof of address for a thai driving licence, and I know its where local retirees go for their 90 day reporting.

I have used this office about 5 times in the last year and they are very friendly. Never many people in there so is always quick. Every one i have spoken to here in Mae Rumpeung compliments the staff there.
