Trip To Chang Mai

Featured Replies

Hi all

My girlfriend and i will be visiting chang mai for a few days at the end of december.

Neither of us know the area at all.

We are not really city people, we prefer the countryside and outdoors.

Can anyone recomend a reasonable place to stay that is not in the city but is conveniently located to see the touristy things.

Any advice greatly appreciated

Although farther out than you'd probably want to be, the Imperial's not bad and is a fair way from the main road yet only around 10 mins from town.

If you've got a bit of money to spend, try Horizon Village out towards Doi Sakhet... 10kms east of CM. Close to 300 rai of manicured grounds and pretty peaceful. :o
