September 13, 200718 yr I am due to make my first trip to the new airport from Nakhon Pathom, and would like to ask if any members can advise me on the best route. I plan to take 338 east, and connect with the second stage expressway at the apparently nearest on-ramp location at the western end of Phetchaburi Road. Should I take the Rama VIII bridge, or the Krungthon bridge? In addition I am aware that many of the streets in Rattanakosin connecting these bridges to the expressway are one-way streets, but my map doesn''t show them as such. Any help would be much appreciated. I have conducted a forum search for this information, but the last time this question was asked, there were no replies.
September 13, 200718 yr Go across Rama VIII bridge, once you have crossed stay in one of the two right lanes until you get to the intersection with Prachathipathai Road where you should carry straight on. After this, stay in the middle lane and you come to the Ratchadamnoen road intersection. Again carry straight on here. After here you need to stay in the left lane as you will be turning left at the next intersection with Nakhon Sawan Road. After turning left carry straight on along Nakhon Sawan, you go over a bridge and after a short time arrive at a T junction with Pitsanulok Road. Turn right here and then stay in one of the left lanes so you don’t end up going over the bridge later on. After a few hundred meters you come to a intersection and a train crossing, just after you cross the train tracks turn left onto the expressway. There is 2 ways on to the expressway, take the right lane. Hope this helps Jake
