I'm thinking of staying here when i go to Mukdahan , has anybody stayed here before?

Also , any farang type bars/restaurants?

There are lots of threads on this; There are two farang style establishment close to the Ploy Palace. A bar run by an American, Ralph I think, that is purely a watering hole, and next door is a Farang style restaurant, run by Thais I believe.

If you leave the Ploy and turn left, then do a right when you get to the main road, they are there. Two minutes walk from the hotel lobby.
