Planning my second trip back to Thailand in March 08.

Just wondering if anyone can suggest some options for somewhere to stay there will be 6-7 of us 4 are couples and 3 single blokes want to be near the beach and also the bars etc.

Want somewhere on the cheaper side but clean.

Well looking at around 1500 to 1800 could got to 2000 but would prefer not to

friend of mine has a guesthouse, can sleep up to 6 person 1 room, or alternatively 3 x 2, or 1x4 and 1 x 2 etc

is 100 m into Bangla, and 200m to beach

Patong Bay Garden Resort, just returned from there, pool, breakfast on edge of beach and reasonable prices, staff helpfull and friendly, pity I am not on commission really
