that's the fact: i'm legally (with certificate) married in thailand since June 2007(about 3 months).in the last 95 nights she slept with me just 21. my blame, i allowed her to stay at her mom's home (in Samut Prakan), THAT'S what SHE said.

but unfortunately (for she) just yesterday i met a former school companion of her that innocently (believing that i knew it) told me:

- my wife has been married for 12 year with a thai policeman,

- has 2 kids with him (14yo & 10yo) :o

-she divorced from the policeman 'cause he betrayed her (many times) and she has known.

to this point she lied only on purpose of the kids (saying to me that it did not have any)

but the best is yet to come:

-around 10 May (this year) she married (thai ceremony with relatives and friend) with a 50yo man from Sweden!

the school companion said that my wife has met this man at job (massage parlour in Pattaya 2nd road corner soi 8) 1 or 2 years ago

i met her last christmas (in pattaya) and when i back to my contry i phone her everyday (almost)

i remember there was a trouble on week 7-13 May, she said: i had an accident with motorbike, i stay hospital and can't answer phone

i have no way to inquire but...

to anyone know a man from Sweden, approximately 50 years old, wich married a 33yo thai lady,

probably in Pattaya, on 10 May (maybe 9 maybe 11-12), please, contact me (by private message)

my coming out wasn't easy but i can't bear this situation anymore.

i heard a million story about thai ladies got 2-3-4 boyfriends at the same time, but never thought that could marry too!

is this a bigamy case needs penal pursue

If it was just the ceremony with friends and family, and nothing was signed at the Amphur, then there is no bigamy case, and you are legally married to her.

Personally, I'd still seek a way to get out of it as fast as possible.

1. i'd like that the Swedish man should be informed of it

2. obtain wedding's cancellation (not divorce)

3. get a compensation for material and moral damages

and last ...she must be "charged to giving false information to an official under the penal code (451)"

did someone knows a good lawyer in pattaya?

better thai lawyer of farang?

if someone suspects that HIS WIFE* could be MY WIFE, please contact me by private message

*maybe you think "the ceremony with relatives it's a joke", for her family you are his husband!

p.s. i attached my wife's photos - been removed by administrators :o

it would have been better not to remove them (understood my sate of mind... desperation)

I can understand you are devastated - I think everybody can. However, put your thoughts for revenge aside for a moment and then just leave. My advice would be to leave for a while before initiating divorce proceedings through a lawyer. That way you can look at it more neutral.

The swedish guy - are you trying to help him or smack him? You can surely find out who he is, easy as apple pie. But then again, what good does it do you?

From personal experience - at first you try to hold on like crazy, then you try revenge on her + lovers, and finally you realize how silly it all was and wish you had just left this mess behind and moved on sooner. I know it's hard but I would advocate to get to the "move on" part as quickly as possible. The rest is just wasted energy.

This may sound crazy to you now but the best thing you can do for yourself is to move on. Even better, forgive, but that takes time. By forgive I don't mean go back, I just mean realize that's the way she is.

you are not allowed to post her pics - but you can her name and address.

you should speak at her workplace and find out more about her

Dead right. The OP should take a Thai way out like fleeing the scene :o Like now :D

To the OP: your 'wife's' relatives and friends must have been busy, attending all the weddings and ceremonies....

Nice relatives and friends... :o , apart from the 'wife' that is.

Get out, get very very drunk and forget her !

Get out, get very very drunk and forget her !

Everyone here is telling you the obvious thing: Get out. Leave the physical area (Pattaya?), go to Samui, Phuket... erase her number from your phone. Spend time with yourself. Get very drunk! Forget her!!!

As for revenge, well... you know it would be very easy to do - I find that greedy people are very easy to trick. Greed always gets the better of them. But it's not going to help you personally - even if all your imagined revenge schemes worked out, you wouldn't feel any better for it.

I think losing you and perhaps having all her schemes unravel is probably bad enough for her... if she doesn't even know you'll get your mini-revenge just by disappearing. Just whatever you do - and I feel silly for even mentioning this - don't believe anything she says to get you back and stay away.

everybody suggest me to get away..., i will do, but before i want the Swiss know

i think is time to give up with that kind of behaviour

my first wedding couldn't end with my escape

i told her a thousand time how it means to me and that would be my first and last marriage.

i add that i left job to get here (as she requested) leaving dad, mom, brothers, sisters and friends,

they all get my wedding's photos.

to anyone would help me to contact him i would like to say: thank you

this is not my revenge, is the law! even if i know how should be tough, i will keep my faith

legally (with certificate) married........

I know many Thai men that have 2 or even 3 wifes, ALL of then know each other and as it were take it in turns... One a very good friend has 3 wifes and each have 1 child ALL born within the same month, all are happy, the kids are now 4 and are great kids, to Westerners this is strange + illegal, but in Thailand appears normal...

So if Thai Men can have more than one wife, can a 'wife' have more than one husband here ??

If you know as FACT that the Thai Lady was married before your ceremony then that means your ceremony is only that …..a ceremony.

If the wedding was registered at the Ampur then She is charged with bigamy under Thai law, if the wedding cert was registered at YOUR embassy then you will have to take her to court and file for wedding annulled due to her bigamy (because you are registered as married).

I think your choice of partner leaves a lot to be desired.

Some hard facts that you should understand…if you have ANY joint property etc with this woman then the FIRST husband (Thai) has FULL claim on all and can bring a criminal case of Rape against you (like taking a car without the owners permission) for having sex with HIS wife (In Thailand the Husband if not divorced has full claim on anything in her name)…you really do not want to get lawyers involved and as many already say GO and run fast

6 men, now that' impressive. Same old story, foreign man falls in love (or lust) with Thai girl gets married then has all sorts of problems. Why not just date. Doesn't matter what country you are in, you can never really know someone in a few months. I know a few Thai women who have Thai boyfriends and husbands and still date foreign men. Why don't their men care? well some do, but mainly its free money for them. It's like a job. I feel sorry for the kids of these girls. Lets be honest here. Most of the girls who work in Pattaya are not doing it for fun, they want to earn some money to help themselves and families. The easiest route to this is through a foreigner. Although it's not nice what happened, you also need to be realistic about where you are and the mind set of the girls. Don't get me wrong, there are some marriages that are happy and productive. But what percent is that? Maybe some kind of system should be put in place to help avoid thes situations. But one good thing if you are in this situation, it is quick and easy to divorce. Not like in other countries.

Nice one! :o

This should at least stir this inane, utterly boring post up a bit...

I cannot believe how a western male coming from a rule-and-law society can misinterpret some village ceremony with some white cords around your forearm, a chanting monk and lots of Lao Kaow as a marriage if then not a serious heap of papers is signed (ever anybody heard of a pre-nup, they are kust as possible here as anywhere in the world... hint!).

Would it not be even more fun to know that the Swedish (or Swiss, or whatever) man knew exactly that this girl was married to another guy and just went with her to the village for some cultural folklore and a great binge drinking...?

Having a feast for the village costs mere pennies and you will never have so much fun again in your life; maybe just paying out this amount to see the OPs face after being stun by a girl he met in a massage in PTY would be worth it for me...

I know, maybe for him its all a great tragedy -- personally I am convinced he is a troll just fishing for sympathetic responses, nobody can really be that naive -- and if somebody is so utterly without brains, it is hard to keep off the 'Schadenfreude'.
