Is anybody making use of ING Direct or HSBC Direct?

When in Thailand BoA will charge you $5 transaction fee to use your ATM check card.

Apparently ING Direct doesn't charge any fees at all and have a $1000 daily limit.

I have a visa gold check card from Fidelity. First 5 atm withdrawals are free for each month, after that is $1 each

I also have BoA atm card but wouldn't use it because of its higher fee

Yeah I also have visa gold check card from Fidelity and usually only use the BoA one when I'm already over the daily ATM limit. I do like how BoA emails me transaction alerts for activity and balance information though but I generally don't like big banks as I know I'm getting screwed one way or another.

Nationwide consistently give excellent rates and no charge for ATM and credit card use
