Please Help Me Understand The Phone Line/isp System

Featured Replies

I hope someone can explain how this all works, I've read all the posts and decided that I want a phone line from TT&T and ADSL from CAT. I'm moving into a new house in Eakmongkol vilage the new one on soi 4 off Payapruk rd. Went in to TT&T office in carefore with my T/W and did the paperwork for them to check to see if there is a line available, they called back the next day and told us that the "box" was full and would have to wait until they decide to install another box, I guess the box theya re talking about is some sort of exchange for that area, hard to believe the developer didn't make some kind of arangements for telephone services when he started the project. Anyway while we were at the TT&T office, I asked the sales girl if we could sign up for the CAT internet service, she said no we would have to use TT&T provided Max net.

Does CAT provide phone lines? We are going to check with TOT to see if they have a line available but how does that work, if you get a line from one phone service provider and decide to change do they have to run a new line or use the exhisting line that was run by another company?

Someone please explain this system to me.

I had the same runaround so got TOT (again) and 1024/512 for Bt1000 per month. Been good so far and was very good on 512/256 in the condo for the last couple of years.

You could wait forever.

We are checking with TOT now to see if they have a line available.I guess it will be better than dial up.
