Gasoline Consumption

Featured Replies

Thinking about buying a car.

Does anybody know a table that shows the gasoline consumption of all these heavy pick-ups "made in thailand" together with the dealer prices? I want to compare the real costs and I dont want to buy a high consumption engine.

Thanks for help!

consumption for all these trucks are about the same when going over 90kph... they are all common rail.

toyota

isuzu

nissan

chevy

mitsubishi

ford/mazda

prices are in order with most expensive on top...(or close to it)

For a rough guide for running costs 2-3 Baht per kilometer has worked for me.

Had a Toyota long-bed 4x4 awhile back to haul my toys. Even when I wasn't hauling anything, it was guzzling at twice the rate of my other car, a Toyota MR2.

Funny thing, these days I see plenty of pickups, but rarely do I see them carrying anything other than the driver.

if you dont mind an older truck, the old style isuzu with the 2.3 engine was legendary for good fuel economy.

Thanks, a older car would be good enough. Which ISUZU model do you mean? Sorry, I have no idea of cars.
