Yes.

The Embassy called yesterday and spoke to my wife at length.

Interview completed by phone.

They wanted 1 additional document.

I need to send an updated 47sp, as some moron sent an old one (not the 07/07 Version)

Could have sworn that i checked that multiple times. :o

Apart from that, they seemed happy with everything.

We now wait for notification on the outcome.

On the basis of the additional documentation required and the discussion they had on the phone with my wife, and am pretty happy right now, with the whole thing.

Now it is just wait for the next phone call, then hopefully, a quick trip to Bangkok to pick up the docs.

Will keep you posted.

I had the same problem with the application forms....

And in my other post I highlighted some areas where we need to send more info. We have a month to send that in....CMO is Leena apparently. The rest of the interview went ok according to the missus.

:D:o:bah:

Well, the Embassy called again today. Visa Approved.

We can go to Bangkok next week to pick it up.

Total processing time from when they received it was just over 2 weeks.

It was delayed as we had to send some additional docs to them last week.

Had we lodged it with the original of my wifes birth cert and the updated form 47sp, it would have been even quicker.

A huge thank you to all on this forum who have directly and indirectly contributed to the success of this application.

:D :D :D

We have been together in Thailand since January this year, so we are busy trying to work out what to pack, what to dump and what to ship back.

We will probably head back to Perth in a couple of weeks, then back to Queensland.
