Which Tyres Would You Recommend?

Featured Replies

Hi. I am in Pattaya with a Honda CB-1 400cc.

What with all the dirt and sand on the roads here due to alll the building projects etc.........which rubber would you recommend for good grip?

Secondly............what would be the best shop in Pattaya for these?

Thanks in advance ( hopefully :o )

I beleive the most popular tire for 400's at present is Dunlop GPR70 GPR70 should be available at any decent bikes shop. If in BKK you can get some near the large roundabout/traffic circle in Chinatown. Front is about 3500, rear 4500. I have them on my bike, not 400.

No tyre will grip on asphalt/concrete covered with sand.

Thanks ! :o

One caution GPR70 is a medium/soft tyre so if longterm wear or overall operating cost is a factor you may wish to try something else but they are the best grip for the money and have street cred if you have motorcycling friends. As to where in Pattaya you could join GT-Riders forum and ask. In BKK BKKRiders

There is an email contact in the tire section he may have a dealer customer in Pattaya.
