Hi Mid,

Please be advised that any errors in the translation below are my own as I took the translation down over the phone (for security reasons). However, I am almost certain I took it down word for word.

Here is the translation from a Burmese friend of mine of the words written on the flag:-

'If only there were mountains of bones,

Burma would be free from authoritarian/dictatorship,

The Monks’ bones would be the lowest layer'.
