Reloadable Credit Cards

Featured Replies

Hi,

Looooong ago, someone in this forum launched the idea to offer a (reloadable) Credit Card for the ThaiVisa members.

But the plans didn't work out and the whole project was cancelled.

I live in Thailand on 1-year Visa's which are extended every year.

I have asked for such a card in several banks and other places, and found some distributors like "OK-Cash".

But their Visa card can only be used within the Thai territory, which make it pretty unusable.

I'm looking for a Reloadable Credit Card which can be used to make online payments outside Thailand as well.

Preferable, one that can be reloaded without using a Credit Card.

Does anyone have any tips on this subject?

TIA

"Sign Up Process

In order to complete the sign up process, you will need to receive an initial transfer of at least US $5.00 from another ePassporte Account Holder."

How about sending an initial transfer of at least US$5.00, Mike?

*You need to be aged 18 or over and a UK resident to apply for an account. Individuals aged 13 and over can be additional cardholders. We need to take a few details from you, this won't take very long. Be assured that there is no credit check, and there is 100% acceptance guaranteed*.

I'm not an UK resident, but nevertheless, thanks for your help.

i tryed recently www.payoneer.com (they doing franchise as well ... ) would be a suplyer for a thaivisa cc card ;-)

however .. i got the card (activation works fine) ... inital fee is 19USD (outside US) or 9USD insidde us ...

so far everything allright .... 3bucks/month 3,5% for charge .. and 5USD each redraw on a ATM ...

the cool thing is that you can anyone let "load your card" so its also a nice payment gateway

Only allowed for US Residents as this is the only choice in step 1.

Nevertheless, thanks

Answer from "www.e-gold.com"

I'm using an ADSL line from TOT.

I can see now why it was so difficult for the original pioneer of "Reloadable Credit Card for ThaiVisa members" to open an account in Thailand.
