October 13, 200718 yr Just watched Channel 7 News with the wife, and they showed pictures of flooding elsewhere and according to the wife they expect Surin and Buriram districts to be affected next. I am in northern part of Changwat Buriram on the Buriram side of the Nam Moon river, and the river is about to break it's banks. In some places the water is starting to flow into the surrounding rice paddies. Now my wife said earlier today that she has never seen the water come up to the village, but that TV report has her a bit worried. I am a newbie up here, so have no past experience on this. Our house is only a meter above the paddies. So Thinking abaout getting some sand bags just to be on the safer side...

(do double check the date as sometime its a few days wrong as someone has forgotten to plug in the PC to communicate with the TMD ) T.I.T.
