orkid
Is it common that internet café computers in Thailand will allow the user to load his/her photos from a digital camera [uSB] so that they can be mailed or posted on a blog or some such? Thanks, Stephen
Oswulf
Yes. However, the PC will probably not have software for resizing .jpg files, so shoot your 'photos with low resolution for easy emailing.
orkid
Big problems loading the photos onto the computer. I finally googled a driver for my camera and installed it on the computer I was using [and mailed the driver to myself so I can install it on computers easier]. on the plus side the computers in the cafe i'm using have ACDsee installed so i can do some photo editing before sending them on. The other possibility is to get a universal usb card reader for about 300 baht or less. Then you can just plug your camera memory card into it and the reader into any computer and get the images. No special drivers needed this way.
