jeebusjones
I'll be doing a visa run shortly (my last! as I'm leaving Thailand next month), but am bored of wasting an entire day on the trip. Are there any visa run services that leave early enough to get back to Bangkok by 2 or 3pm? I know Fine Day used to do a visa run that left at 5 and returned at 1pm, but I know they don't operate any more. Are there any others?
sniffdog
Jack Golf leaves 5:00 am, arrives at 3:30 in Bangkok. Mind that this is the Poi Pet run .... you'll need a ticket confirmation.
jeebusjones
Thanks Sniffdog. Actually I don't trust Jack Golf to be back by 3.30pm. I went with them once before and we didn't get back until after 8pm. But I did find another company that leaves at 4am, so presumably they'd be back before 2pm. It's called Rung Sang Travel, the website is http://www.rungsangtravel.com/visa_run_angor.htm. I'm thinking about taking one of the casino buses to Poipet. Is it really necessary to have an onward ticket within 30 days? What if I have an onward ticket for 33 days?

What if I have an onward ticket for 33 days? If you have a valid Multiple Entry Visa no need to show a airticket. If you have no Visa and plan to get just another 30day stamp/visa waiver or visa exemption stamp , than you need to show Thai Immigration in Aran a valid ticket which indicates that you leave within 30days. sniffdog
I went on this trip around 6-7 times .... returned always on time (not the 1.30pm Jack indicates on his website). If you have a ticket in 33 days .... overstay three (hope the best) and then you will be fine ...... Although I would take the Ban Laem and don't worry when you get home .... lopburi3
Never overstay and "hope the best". Very bad advice.
