Motorbike From Thailand To The U.k.

A freind of mine is considering buying a second hand motorbike,and sending it back to the uk,obviously the cost of this procedure will have a bearing on wether it is cost effective or not to buy the bike.

Does anybody have any idea what the correct way of doing this is?
