Renewal Of Non Immigrant O Visa

Featured Replies

Hi all

I am currently staying in Thailand/SE Asia for a year or so travelling on an Non Immigrant O Visa and leaving Thailand every 90 days to visit somehwre else and keep my visa in check.

Have now decided to stay maybe another year or two. Is it a simple case of when my Thai visa runs out do i simply go to another Thai Consulate in another country and get another Non Imm O and are they easily renewable when the first one finishes?

Also where is the best place to go, i see the Visa runs for Non Imm O being advertised on Thai TV for 15,000baht to Malaysia. Can it be renewed in Cambodia/Laos etc etc.

No it is not that simple - unless you have a valid reason for a multi entry non immigrant visa you will not obtain them anywhere in the area. Now if you say your married to a Thai or over age 50 it may open some local options.

Thanks, unfortunately (or fortunately) im under 50 and not married, i will have to look at it in more detail, on my original which i obtained in Hull i stated i was just holidaying and visiting friends, thought i couldve done the same again in Malaysia.

Sorry - not a chance anywhere in the area. The best you can obtain locally would be a tourist visa.
