Yes. The Princess Royal. I stay there often and i like GOOD CLEAN hotels so i recommend this.

They are also prepared to negotiate a little bit on price if they are not fully booked

Yes, it's by far the best hotel in Korat. I'm not sure it's in that price range though. I suspect it would be more in the 1800-2400 price range. I'm sure Googling it would clarify the price.

I stay at the Thai hotel good clean rooms but nothing fancy 480 bht per night pay every day cash. in advance. breakfast very good around 90 bht extra .

We usually stay at the Sri Pattana Hotel, right downtown.  Not that fancy but OK, decent eats at the coffee shop, other eateries out the gate, turn right and not too far.

FYI, built right on top of the ol' Lucky Seven Bar from the real old days....

KR (Korat Hotel) is very comfortable - right in the city with all the

requirements within walking distrance. 700 baht will see you in a double room with breakfast.

Try the new V-One Hotel behind St. Mary's School in the city. They are of the 'New Chic' type of modern hotels. Good clean rooms and western-style amaenities !
