Can I Make A Payment Into A Bank Account Using My Visa Card?

Featured Replies

I was just wondering.

I need to make a fairly large payment into a bank account here in LOS.

Could I go into my local bank here (we only have Thai Government Bank) and transfer money to an account with Kasikorn bank?

Could I do this using my visa card or do I need to withdraw the cash over the next few days from ATM's?

Can I transfer easily between different banks or should I go to a Kasikorn branch?

I've done it before a few times by using the foreign exchange counter at the bank and requesting a cash advance using my Visa card. This was with Bangkok Bank and was possible to do up to the limit allowed by my card.

Thanks Tywais, I'll give it a try.
