To all you guys in Thailand living off your interest, you will now get more. Some of my mates who pulled out of the sharemarket will certainly welcome this.

You can get 7.3% on 12 Month term Deposits and 7.1% at call on your money now in OZ.

Not good for those with home loans but good for retirees.

Well thats fine, retirees will be better of but not in term deposits or at call ,when we are talking a lot of money its better to have it somewhere that does not have tax . eg super, pension over 60 no tax .
