Wow Bambina! I have been in Khemmerat many times and didn't realize there were that many places to stay. I've only noticed the resort when you first drive into the city about 2kms from the bus station.

My friend I, not much to do there. I believe Sezzo knows about it. A few foreign folks but pretty sleepy. I couldn't even find a place that had UBC working one time when I tried to watch F-1. Decent coffe place just down from the post office, across from the lady selling kao jeet.

Lot's of undercover cops as well.

Enjoy Khemmerat,

BJ

My Friend I,

Where did you end up staying? I haven't been there in about 9 moths so I'm curious if it is growing or not. The town was so sleepy when I was there, just a couple of karoake style bars, a few places to eat. Has it changed? The noodle stalls across from 7-11 seemed the busiest places in town.

You must have went there sponsored? (You know what I mean, ha!) Maybe my guide knows yours and we might be able to hook up in the future for a wild west, northern Isaan adventure. I've always wanted to do some boating over to the other side just to say I did it. The locals say it can be done.

Cheers,

BJ
