Hi there,

Can anyone suggest a model, and the price for a 500 GB Firewire HD. I'll be looking at Pantip Plaza in the next few days and would like some suggestions. What brands are the most dependable.

It will be used by two MacBooks.

I've got the Seagate FreeAgent 750gb Drive - happy with it so far. I paid about 10k for it (from memory) - so should be around that or slightly cheaper now. I did look at the Western Digital one, but that looked like a huge black brick. The Seagate lMHO
