Cultural / History Question

Hi,

We want to send a handicraft gift to abroad (see attachment) but would like to include some info in English as to the significance of the arrangement and meaning of items.

As I understand it, the two silver/gold urns (พานพุ่ม) (are they actually urns??) are used for offerings to royalty. Also the pattern on the lotus pot appears to have a special significance.

Neither my Thai family nor relatives can help out and many hours of Google search did not produce good results.

Is anybody here on TV who has knowledge about these things or knows about a web-site in English where I could find the required info?
