Fortuna Smart Vs Vigi Hilux Exclusive

Featured Replies

I am interested in buying a something in the next few weeks I'm up in the air between the Fortuna Smart (in white)and Toyota Hilux Vigo exclusive (second hand 20k km mint cond)...here is the spec:

Vigo: 3.0G 4WD 4 door, Alarm/immobiliser, CDMP3 player, top up 20000 kms 800000baht

Toyota Fortuna Smart full spec (White) 1350000

What would you choose? I prefer the look of the fortuna but it doesnt have the ability to switch between 2 and 4WD like the hilux.

The Hilux gets about 12-13kms per lt in 2WD as opposed toi the 9-10 in a Fortuna with fixed 4WD.

The Fortuna....is it worth the extra money?

The Vigo....better performance, shorter wheel base, less flashy?

It woulkd be very much appreciated if you could guide me in the right direction. At the end of the day A vigo performs far better offroad and for the money saved I can change the shocks etc.

What do you think?

Thank You

i wish i could get the camry interior inside a fortuna with the performance of a vigo

:o

Surely the wheelbase of the Vigo is bigger than the Fortuner? Or the same perhaps, but not smaller.

Anyway, I think 800K for a used car (no matter the mileage) is too much. 750K and it gets interesting.

One more thing to keep in mind: 4 door pick-ups don't really have a whole lot of leg room in the back; the Fortuner is a true 4/5 seating vehicle (plus some fold up seats for kids behind that)
