The GFs income from the salon and the farm is usally in excess of 75k a month, the farm produce will peak in Jan/Feb/Mar, and total will be about 110k monthly, now what im thinking is that is does this income qualify me for a retirement visa in a joint acc, At the moment i do the 800k route, and also have a monthly pension payment, the pension and the 800k would get a lot better interest in UK, but do we need to be married to achieve the income status, or do i still have to show money coming from overseas? TIA LIckey..

That money does not belong to you can can not be used. Even if married it must be your income not family income to be used for extension of stay for retirement and be in your name only. For retirement income they want a letter of your pension from you Embassy.

If married the money could be used for the family extension of stay 40k per month extension requirement if you want to change to that method of extensions.
