Are Spring Loaded Mouse & Rat Traps Available In Thailand?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Are spring loaded mouse & rat traps available in Thailand? Never saw one yet. I have used them when the need arose all my life. I have tried other methods too, but found the glue traps far from humane, and the live traps are just a "death row" for the rodents until they're drown. Unless you 'catch and release' - making the someone else's problem. The poisons lead to a long period where the vermin dry-up - or thirst to death - hardly seems pleasant.

I think in all of the years of using the spring-loaded traps, they kill so quickly the mouse sometimes doesn't get to make even a sound. In all my time using these, in Hawaii and Florida, I had only one that was merely injured, but I knew it immediately, so he didn't suffer much. The glue and poisons are real nightmares though - IMHO, really cruel!

Anyhow the main question is where, if possible to I get these. I live on Samui, but get to Bkk on occasion, Also, are there any restrictions against importing them?

Thanks,

LOL MUCH BIGGER GAME TRAP!!!

all possible techniques should be used against the vermin - after some time of use they will get smart and avoid being killed. Still, the best protection for the house is a cat - it not only catches the vermin, but even the smell of cat's urine and feces will deter
