Penang Visa Possible In One Nights Stay?

Normally I get the evening flight (Airasia) from BKK and stay two nights, but was wondering if its possible to get to the consulate in time from the morning flight and just stay the one night?

That's what most people do.

Hand in the application/passport in the morning before noon and pick it up the next day after lunch.

Yep, definitely possible, gf did it just last week.

I have done it in one night twice now, get the first flight (Airasia) get off the plane buy your ticket for the cab from the booth on the ground floor (cheaper and fast) go streight to the Embassy get ya cab to wait bo the business and then pic it up at 2 the next day and you can still get the 6pm back!

The Embassy is a doddle compared to hel_l ON EARTH aka KL.
