i set up an office with 8 PC's sharing internet printers and files

all was running smoothly however internet was slowing down with emails and surfing

KSC was asked to put in a broadband connection

they did and it worked beautifully

EXCEPT they knocked out the office network so no one could print or share files

when informed a day later they requested money to fix it - telling us that they connect the broadband and make sure its working properly - however what happens in your office is your business

after meeting with KSC and their techs the system was made to work

what they did was give each PC a static IP address when previously it was all dynamic - so their internet worked but it didnt see our previous workgroup setup

now they are running DHCP from the router and to keep the old workgroup they are running IPX

it works for now

but just beware that these companies dont know what the left hand is doing
