Christmas Mass At Assumption Cathedral?

Does anyone know if there is a Christmas Mass at the Roman Catholic Church (Assumption Cathedral) in Bangkok? I have to admit that while I'm Roman Catholic, I've been to a church maybe 5 times in the past 10 years, but after going to the Wat with my wife so much I feel like I need a change for Christmas and drag her somewhere too.

So ..anyone have an idea where I could find the times and dates for the Christmas Mass? I've looked at http://www.catholic.or.th/ but it seems to be all in Thai :o

Hi Rainman,

I don't know about Assumption Cathedral, but the Holy Redeemer Church on Soi Ruamrudee celebrates Christmas Mass (on Christmas and on Christmas Eve) and has an English website http://www.holyredeemerbangkok.net/hrc/home.php

Cheers, Misty

I can't imagine there isn't going to be a Christmas mass at Assumption Cathedral, the archdiocese of Bangkok. I'm not a Christian but I am going to the annual Christmas mass at Rosary church near China town (not far from Assumption Cathedral) to be with my wife's family. Christmas mass at Rosary church used to start at midnight (00:00 hour) but last year it started at 10PM on Christmas eve, ending midnight after an hour's recreation of raffle drawing and prize give away as usual. I think it's a good idea as it was a pretty tiring getting home from church at 3AM and going to work the next day. So you might want to check what time it starts at Assumption. Note parking is limited there although I'm sure they will open school parking next to the cathedral to the public.
