Got any recommendations for a guest house for 2 weeks?

(Yes, I know there are lots, but figured a recommendation might help find one above par and/or for an especially good price)

Also, do you think it will be fairly busy around new year time (i.e. is there actually a need to make a booking in advance?)

As for availability, the most popular places might fill up but there's always something.. You could try contact them if they have a website; doesn't hurt to try. Though it's also not a 100% guarantee.
