Email Subscriptions

Featured Replies

I have not received a single e-mail subscription since the upgrade recently. Trying to see if it is a local problem or if the email daemon on the TV servers is not running. Anyone else seeing this?

When was the upgrade? I've been getting a few (received some today in fact) but they're still very unreliable and don't really work, but the problem doesn't seem any worse than it has been for ages.

A day or two ago. Before that was receiving them but like you, only 30-40% but have learned to live with that. However, I always get my e-mail subscriptions from the mod forum but not now.

I have notfied the server operator and they will look into this asap.

It looks like DNS server issues at the university now. Ran a DNS check on NIC whois and it doesn't recognize my domain and several other university domains, "does not exist". Also noticed have not received any spam for a day or two now, normally a couple of dozen or more come in. Appears to be just coincidental the problem showed up at the same time as the server upgrade. Sorry for the false alarm, just very unusual for the university to have this type of probelm. :o

Well my e-mail subscriptions started coming in, or should I say flooding in. 4 days worth came in all at once today, nearly 200 hundred of them. :o

By the way, it may be just me, but I haven't received a single subscription email for what must be over a week now...

Same here. I'm getting Forum Subscriptions, but not a single one from replied topics which I have set for auto subscriptions. Checked my topic subscription list, and many I have replied to but no e-mail notification.

And still none today, despite many subscribed posts being replied to (like this one for example). I still get the newsflashes and "Recent Postings on Thaivisa" emails though.
